Curio Shop
The curio shop was opened in 1980 with the Heritage Precincts development of the silk screen printing workshop. The emphasis has been on the local community life, traditions and designsof Bakgatla. This means that the workshop produces goods of special quality and insight into the community life. The shop has a range of silk screened goods like wall hangings, bags, curtains,
table mats, bedspreads to clothing, cards and arts and crafts. The workshop provides silk screen printing services for the community as part of the sustainability of the museum.

Untold History
Phuthadikobo Museum is a community
Regional Museum for Kgatleng District and
Botswana. It is a trust that serves as a
heritage and archive centre for Bakgatla-ba-
Kgafela where all information , artefacts
and other objects of value to thecommunity
and Botswana are stored for safe keeping to
benefit present and future generations.
The Phuthadikobo Hill Heritage Site is central
to all cultural and heritage activities for
Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela as serves as the
coordination point for such activities,
including but not limited to the
transformation of Phuthadikobo Hill, as a
Regional Museum for Kgatleng District and
Botswana. It is a trust that serves as a
